so the cacti grow unhindered.

Watch their slow dancing!
They’ve become skyscrapers
and automobiles; they—
they have formed bridges
and walkways and highways and

and they’ve formed airports for us—look!
Yes, for us… I’m sure of it.
They’ve missed—God, they’ve missed us!
